Seeing "Your Steam profile shows that there are no games in your library. This most likely means that your Steam account is set to Private. Please make your profile Public, then return to this page and click Refresh." when I go to gog.com/connect. My profile is public (I even checked it while logged out of steampowered.com ).

GOG Connect seems to be broken at the moment.  There's already a discussion about this issue :
