It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Kaldire: is there a way to clear the logs so I can start from when its crashing only recently vs the really long logs that exist?

maybe it will help isolate the crashing,
ty again mate for all the help truly

mike_cesara: You may safely delete them if you want. Or move somewhere. With Galaxy turned off of course.
No problem mate : )

btw, Achievements will still work without overlay, which is only for pop-ups really. Don't you find it immersive breaking?
well old achievements never popped up
once one did finally yea it is a bit distracting and kinda gives that playstation trophy popup gog style,
which I dont like (but it does help to notice when its working or not vs exiting the game to see if you got an achievement

but yes it ruins the immersive nature

Personally I don't mind about achievements even a bit, used overlay only for testing purposes.
Achievement may work for some games, platformers perhaps.. but I don't think it fits to games like The Witcher or Gothic.. I say, go to graphic options, disable hud completely and enjoy the story!
Same problem for me I can't use the client right now while the website works just fine.

Seems I can't get connected to cfg.gog.com:443/desktop-galaxy-client/config.jso according to the log.

-El_Greeko-: I turned the firewall off but it still didn't work. But the "Galaxy Updater Application" actually popped up before the Client launched and downloaded 50+MBs. Something that it didn't do before.

Fallen_Zen: Can you reach this address through your browser? https://cfg.gog.com:443/desktop-galaxy-client/config.json

The log says that the GOG Galaxy cannot connect to this URL.
I was unable to connect to the internet with gog galaxy but opening this link in Microsoft edge solved it!

oftopic - Btw i can't connect to the internet with google chrome either, only Microsoft edge, would love if a similar fix existed for it! ;P
