Vamps - Viteks "Frogs" > 2-2
What a game. Really what a game.
Overall Nuffle didnt really like me for the first 3/4 of the match. Vitek was giving my thralls run for their money, while i succeeded in failing quite few critical dodges and pass attempts.
I got pretty much forced to do the first TD on was it turn 6 - with a loner(!). Cant say i was happy about that, but you take what you get.. Then Vitek promptly proceeded to score 1-1 in two turns. I line setup wasnt exactly the best one in the town and my vamp did want to stay on his legs to block and choce to fail GFI instead.
Second half didnt begin too well for me either, i had less players and the ball was in middle of his saurus cage. I had no business getting inside there. Well, i did get a chance to block and push the ball carrier of the pitch - but ofcourse failed dodge and the game was 2-1 for frogs.
Oh and one of my vampires wanted to die again, but luckily apo saved his sorry ass atleast this time.
The fourth kickoff was around turn 12 or so and finally Nuffle showed me some love - pitch invasion and like 8 of viteks players were stunned, while mine were not touched :D
...soo i got pretty good chance at offense, but didnt think too carefully about my player positioning and -again- forgot that one vamp has only mv5 and thus gave Vitek chance to botch my offense. Lizard turn16: Ko'd ball carrier vamp, ball surrounded by four or five lizards players - but somehow Nuffle sprinkled some silly luck on my vamp and i managed to pull a WTF-class maneuver on the last turn and game ended 2-2.
I really liked this match, despite all the silliness and thoughtless moves i made here and there - I think ill remember this one along with certain season1 norse lino passing half the pitch and proceeding to walk to TD.
Well played Vitek - but at the end of the day its Nuffle's game :)
