Yep, after a disconnect yesterday and a disconnect today we finally managed to play the match all the way through.

The Misfits won 3-0 against the Wheredemons, mostly due to the fact that the Wheredemons were busy getting the opposing players off the field and not moving the ball down field. Plagritt Poxx, the Bitzrat that played a great first season was severely injured and lost AV.
Everybody else is up, gnawing warpstone and partying before the next match.

I watched 2/3 of the match and noticed you did lots of ball handling with zombies.

Advice: Zombies are allergic to the ball with their agility of 2. Leave the ball handling to ghouls, which have ag3 and are fast, the werewolves which are even faster or the wights which also have ag3.

The zombies are very good line fodder and the best punching bags in the whole game on price-durability ratio - use them as roadblocks. But most definitely, dont move the ball with them if you have other players on the pitch :)

Statistically your chance to pick up the ball from the ground is your agility score +1 / 6. So for zombies that is 3/6 = 50%. For the earlier mentioned AG3 players its 4/6 = 66%. While not on par with elven ball handling, id take the 66% any time over 50%.

Also if there is anything else troubling your mind about the game (rules or tactics -wise), just ask anything and we'll response anything :p

After a lot of really stupid decisions I lost 0:2 against the Greedy Grinders.

My team only glared once when Grunni Slicetongue suffered -1 ST.

Yep, only 2 Injuries overall. One for him one for me. Unfortunately a dwarf got seriously injured and i´ll have to play the third match with only 5 dwarves again.

My match against MafiaK1 ended on a draw 1-1. It was headed for the classic 2-1 victory for the bashing team, since I managed to score early and he slowly but surely advanced towards my end line during each half, but I defended well enough that he had to take some risks to score at the last turn of each half and it only worked once (his going for it on turn 8 failed).

Still, leading 1-0 since turn 2 and taking the equalizer on turn 16 kind of hurts, even if I expected it, because I had a hope spot when I managed to get the ball back on turn 14, but my ball handler was in the middle of his cage and promptly got destroyed next turn.

What hurts even more is that I mostly managed to dodge away from his bashers, only taking 2 injuries and 2 kos, but both injuries are serious and caused a -1 to something (I really wish I had had the money to buy an apo after the last game; I only needed to roll a 3 on the reward roll once, and first rolled a 1 then a 2).

In 2 games I'm at 1 death and 2 debilitating injuries out of 4 injuries total. I guess my players are really bad at the injury rolls :(
