Psyringe: Btw, here's a question I wanted to ask the other coaches from the last season:
Since we all played new teams last season, did your new team fare as you expected? WHat surprised you about it, and did you learn something new about that team?
Obviously, I'm very positively surprised by the success of my 'zons. I knew that they are considered a strong team in low TV leagues, but I hadn't expected them to be _that_ strong. The thing that surprised me most was, probably, their versatility.
With all players having Dodge, I could play them like slightly clumsy elves against bashy teams (outrunning them when I had the ball, passing when the opportunity arose). And with four players having quick access to Guard (and everyone else taking Block as first pick), I could play them like slightly fragile dwarves against non-bashy teams. They don't really excel at either style, but being able to switch playing styles is an asset in itself, and having lots of cheap re-rolls helped mitigating the risks. I was probably a bit lucky with injuries, though having Dodge all around also helps with preventing those.
What was your impression of your team? :)
My team felt more like a slightly buffed Chaos team in some aspects and a very gimped Chaos team in others. Since we all played new teams last season, did your new team fare as you expected? WHat surprised you about it, and did you learn something new about that team?

Buffed because of Disturbing Presence and Foul Appearance but gimped because of their lack of an actual apo and their tendency to have more injury rolls than normal due to Decay. I liked the aspect of turncoating someone's teammate by killing their player but since that didn't happen all that often, it was almost useless.
Another thing that I was hampered by was their somewhat shoddy MA, not to mention my lack of practice with the game in general. While the Nurgles can be a fun team, I still need tons of practice and level ups on that team to be somewhat effective.
tl;dr:
If you're gonna play Nurgles, make sure you know what you're doing :D
