The first game in the season ended in a 1-1 draw.

After a pretty horrible start for the orcs, with 2 injury, 1 KO and 1 death early on which led to the Khornites easily blitzing my ball carrier and scoring, Nuffle decided to change sides in the second half, during which the Taz'Dingos were pretty unlucky. So I managed to equalize on the last turn.

It doesn't bode very well that in such a bashy league I've already suffered 3 injuries and 1 death in my first game against one of the least dangerous bashing teams in there however. I'm not sure if my orcs can recover, considering all the niggling injuries I already had.

i think that in the last turn you should have blitzed the orc next to you and hope he gets knocked over - then move next to ball carrier. or if you got only pushes - then dodge next to ball carrier. ...the 3 square -1 dodging sort of thing without rerolls has kinda lottery sort of chances compared to that :)

His player had agi 4 so the dodge into 2 tackle zones wasn't that unlikely and just moving next to my ball carrier was no guarantee since I could have blitzed him away next turn.

i think it was: -2 dodge, -1 dodge, 0 dodge (in term of tackle zones).

I asked both of my teams and got two very different answers:

Amazons: "Eww. 'Fresh' and 'Man' is an oxymoron." *wrinkles nose*
Wood Elves: "Only 15?" *pout*

Goblins vs humans -> 0-2 for humies

I had a bit of painful few turns, with the chainsaw gobbo running around and keeping my heart racing - but thank nuffle i managed "put him out of the match". But no worries, he will be just fine for next match ;)

Before that the mean 15 members strong gobbo team swarmed and CAS'ed Private Tentpeg.

Overall, nuffle started favoring me with the block dice, which resulted me getting 2-0 lead. However, the nasty goblins prevented me from doing third TD and instead got within few square of doing TD of their own, thanks to some leaping and dodgy-dodging.

God i hate stunty dodgers, time and time again i think i "got them" - yet they slip away and with the ball no less :D
