Mafiak1's humans won their match against my orcs 3-0.

The tone of the game was set when 2 of my players were injured on turn 2. For the whole of the first half my orcs got their armor broken almost every time they were hit, while I only managed to break armor for the first time on turn 8.

This got a bit more balanced in the second half with 1 injury and 1 KO on each side but the damage was done, and the 2 times I had an opportunity to score, I failed easy passes or got blitzed, and then got countered by elvish play of long passes.

This was a really frustrating game tbh, but since I was luckier than my opponents in the first 3 games, it was to be expected that Nuffle would turn his back on me at some point.

The result was 2-1 for me. going to help with crying kid atm.

The Thongs of Doom & Despair triumphed over the Goglins 2-1.

My secret weapons continue to disappoint; with Atez, the Bombardier, leaving the pitch early due to a fumbled pass. Iippnik and The Stumbling Stampede (the Looney and Fanatic, respectively) weren't much better, doing little more than knocking a few of the opposition players over.

My standout for the match was Digithul Heerow. He managed to fly through the air, quite gracefully I should add, land and then run in the ball for a touchdown.

On iippo's end, he spent much of the match hurting every Goblin that came into his line of sight, even managing to knock (if I recall correctly) Eep Argh! to the outside, where he was promptly set on by some bored-looking fans. He then gave up the ghost, but the team's apo managed to reduce the damage to a Badly Hurt.

Lastly, I'm slightly baffled that Atez was awarded my MVP.

Demons n' Goglins results screenshot

goglins suffered 6 casulties..."Bloodthirsty demons" caused...1. There was i think one sideline surffed goglins which would have died, but apo saved his bacon succesfully.

Like CSPVG said, i -did- bash his team around quite bit as any khornish team ought do - but to very little effect. those goglins are either made of some bash-proof material - or my teams khornish heritage is only for looks.

Note - i also suffered 1 more KO than goglins ;)

So had the Goglins not been on centered getting themselves killed -by themselves- you never know how the much would have ended. They did manage to pull off nice TTM TD across 2/3 pitch without using rerolls, despite i had couple "catchers" for that reason.

Bloodthirster continued his utterly useless streak. 4 matches, zero CAS and i think he didnt even cause KO in this match. urgh.

Atleast the crowd was smart enough to ko HIM with stone in the last drive.

Psyringe looks to be picking up the easiest 3 points of his career Monday evening 9pm UK time.

Whaat, youre showing symptoms of too submissive attitude.

Vamp coaches got to act more like

1. Say (to opponent) "Welcome to my pitch! Enter freely and of your own free will!"
2. have a appropiate laugh
3. Proceed to suck them dry. With class.
4. repeat step 2. as necessary.

Personally, I'm pretty sure that these won't be easy 3 points. Vampires are very strong players until Bloodlust kicks in. The question is when that will happen. Granted, Amazon teams come with useful skills out of the box, while Vampire teams usually need some buildup, so I should have an advantage. But that was also true for my match against a certain fresh Khorne team, which I lost. ;)

I wonder if their unfazedness from facing scantily clad women comes from being undead, or if they'll react to iippo's thonged dudes more.

Well, khemri have to make do with funeral wrappings - thousands of years old too. Certainly my demonic thongs are superior and worthy of outrageous envy :)
When i played the first season with vamps, every time i got to choose inducements i took only extra thralls. loads of them. Worked far better than rerolls really. Certainly like 2/3 of all the mvps during that season went for either mercenaries or dead/injured players...but all-in-all i think it was pretty decent way to use the inducements. Vamps kinda burn out those thralls so fast anyways.

My craven Chaos will meet meet the resilient risen of Kanarek in about 20-30 minutes.

Myself and Realrocker will be playing tomorrow at noon Pacific time.

Just played my match against Judas. It was quite a fun match and in the first half i was really lucky and got even some help from Terry Pratchett :), in the second half he probably had enough and took out all the players he helped in the first half (perhaps he wasnt that proud off them). It ended 3-0.
