Ladies and Orks! The match between Psyringe and myself might be happening today/tonight! Let's get ready to RUUUUUMMMBLEEEEE!
So it was an easily predictable match as the Elves managed to dance around my team as if they were standing still. Psyringe had the AG and tactical advantage and scored an easy 5-0 victory over my Chaos team...with a few bruises, at least :)

Good game, Psyringe :)

Rioting punks vs Natural Disaster 0-5 ... Replay is here

This was a very one-sided match. As expected, the Chaos team showed little interest in the ball, but greatly enjoyed beating wood elves to pulp. As a result, the wood elves scored all 5 touchdowns, while the Punks inflicted 8 casualties. I was very lucky that all of my players survived, and only one lineelf received a permanent injury.

Notable feats:

- Twiggy Branches scored 4 touchdowns in this match, including a perfect hat-trick (three touchdowns in the same half without anyone else scoring in between).

- Natural Disaster achieved 94% occupation of the opponent's half.

- Silas Silkenswift, a STR2 catcher, was still miffed that the Punk's coach had previously talked about the uselessness of STR2 players in an interview. He decided to demonstrate what a STR2 player can do, and sent the Punks' most experienced player (a level 4 Chaos Warrier) off with a casualty.

All in all, it was a fun game. According to spectators, the Punks were content as well, reportedly one remarked that they had "scored an 8-6 victory". I guess we should feel content that he calculated the touchdowns at all, and did not just tally the casualties. ;)
If anyone's around, Vitek & I are probably going to play pretty soon.
Another 1-1 draw for me.

I scored early and could have scored probably 1 more if first half was 1 turn longer. :-) Unfortunately it wasn't as I noticed too late.
Second half I was slowly running out of players and with 6 remaining on my side (4 of them lying) Hawk scored on T15. I wanted to try some crazy play in last 2 turns for quick TD but failed to pick-up the ball (with re-roll) so there was nothing else left to do.

I injured 1 Hawk's player and Hawk 5 of mine. All of them were only BH.
Best part for me was my Saurus gaining MVP and reaching L4.

We showed little interest in the ball because Chaos knows that trying to do anything around a high AG and MA team is pointless :) It's all about the smashing at that point :D
The Armored Seagulls and Systematic Chaos to get underway shortly!

Unless a Chaos team gets showered with agility upgrades and skills, I would never expect them to care for the ball. ;)
For any interested parties, chaos_panda and I are going to play our match in about ten minutes.
Mafia will be uploading the replay soon.

4-0 win for him. MNG and a -AV for my Ogre. 2nd time the Ogre has sustained this injury on my team.

Sorry if this has already been posted.
just played against CSPVG. first half was just devastating for my orcs. i think there had to be at least 4 badly hurts and 2 or 3 mng. 2 were ko'd. 1 didn't want to get up again. 2nd half a lineman died.

than there was a connection lost and the game told me i won. oO

that is pretty sad because I think, CSPVG would have won the game. hopefully his team will keep the earned spp. they deserve all of them!

I have to admit, that I don't really care much for that orc-team. so I am not really sad if anyone gets badly hurt or even dies. Would that devestation happend to my human team I guess I would be pissed at the game for quite some time. ^^

Yeah I'm getting it now :> The other contents of the bundle are pretty nice too!
After more reflection on my human team's woes this season, I've come to some conclusions.

1. I need a new team. I have only played humans in competitive seasons. This will change next season, regardless of reset...(more on that a little later)
2. I dunno how worth it Ogres are, so there's a good likelihood that I will not continue with one for the rest of the season or perhaps on a few future builds.

------------------------------------------

Speaking of resets...the polls should be coming as we get closer to the end of the season/beginning of the playoffs. The poll will be discussing whether or not you are for a league-wide reset, which would entail every team starting with a fresh TV1000 roster for the next GOG Weekly season, with no returning teams eligible to be considered for return for this season.

Teams would be potentially eligible to return in future seasons, assuming they have followed the rules laid out in the league. (having not played any games outside of the GOG Weekly League)

I say potentially because we're presently looking at some logistics for some potentially larger changes for the league and we're still doing our homework to see how feasible those changes may or may not be. More on those will be revealed at a later date, we just want all of our ducks in a row on the idea (if we don't scrap it altogether) before we bring it to you guys.
