The way I see it is that they want to keep their profits at the highest potential. Console versions tend to gain a lot more profit than PC ones due to the fact prices stay up for a longer period of time, there are no specs for consoles, thus the market is fully there an one does not have to deal with the burdensome specs of PCs, and sales for console games are up to the retail store that sells them or Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft for digital purchases.
Obligating the entire market to only purchase on consoles renders more profits than having a multiplatform release that includes the PC.
One might ask tho: "Why not release them on PC at a later date?" Well, you see, just as you guys are not purchasing consoles or console games thinking that they will eventually get ported at a later date, so could a customer from Asia reason as well, and that would be one less sale for these companies.
