As for living in the past(nostalgia/etc): It is nice and all, but I find it better to either try to change the present/future for the better if one is able, or find ways to make the present/future more tolerable if that isn't possible.

maybe it becomes dystopic when most people wants to live in the past and don't want to do anything to make the future better
