Timboli: (4 copies)
If you're talking about literal duplicates, that's not normal and you should open a support ticket. If you're talking about reminders that your exclusive discount code is about to expire and such, those don't use the exact same subject line and message body. Even in the latter case, a support ticket is usually your best bet.

Edit: I see you've received a Rare Staff Response™ so that's unnecessary now.

What did support say? You should only need to unsubscribe once, unless you re-subscribe by claiming games on giveaway.

On average I get 3-5 emails a week. Not a big deal.

I don't consider it a big enough problem to bother support with. Not to mention fighting with chatbot as you know.

And yes i do claim games, but i immediately unsubscribe. I rarely find any of the GoG emails useful.

sysia_GOG: Hey, thanks so much for your feedback. Obviously, someting is not right with your GOG newsletters. I've passed it to the resposible Team :)
Thank You :)

I can confirm something is wrong with YOUR one, as I did not receive any duplicates. I hope that helps.
Yeah, I thought I had a lot of Gog emails, but I haven't been getting any duplicates.

Thanks for that, and I am now in talks with GOG via PM, and sharing the headers of my emails, to determine what happened, as according to their records they only sent each email once.

No doubt this is some kind of bug due to something.

On the bright side, I did not have to report this via a bot. LOL
Clearly the issue is not fixed yet, as I just got four copies of the GIVEAWAY #6 email.

About 4 hours later I got a single Check out the games you might like email. But that email, like one I got the other day, is showing me games I already own and also unusually showing USD prices instead of AUD prices. So something seems a bit screwy there too.
I've never received duplicates.
Are you sure you didn't enable the newsletter on a secondary account pointing\redirecting to the same email?

They love you 4 times as much as anyone else, apparently.

Quick, make some unreasonable demands, like fixing the 0 games profile bug! You've got the power, man!!!
Four copies of the latest giveaway emails here too. I'm starting to wonder if GOG has any competent staff remaining.

Well I only got one of each as expected, so it's not specifically an Australian account-only issue.

I only have the one GOG account. I also don't get multiple copies of every email from GOG, only a few. And I haven't changed anything in relation to emails at either end, and this just started happening out-of-the-blue in the last few weeks or months.

My email client is Mozilla Thunderbird, but I doubt it is related to that, as I always check my email direct on my ISP server first with the nPopUK program, to remove any unwanted emails before downloading them to Thunderbird. The four copies also showed up in nPopUK.

Certainly this is a weird bug, that doesn't effect everyone, and now I have heard I am not the only one effected.

You are right, it can't be the mail client. The mail server maybe, but not the client. Not if the mails have different time stamps.
It's very likely that it's a bug on GOG's side.
It's a tangential concern to the problem outlined, but something I use to mitigate 'aggressive' services that email a lot are email filters.

Basically, I get emails from various sources redirected to folders which keeps my inbox relatively unencumbered and most of my emails neatly sorted out by source.

I'll check the folders of services that I care about more regularly and for the rest... well, I check them less often. Sure, I miss out one some offers occasionally, but at some point, one has only so much time that can be dedicated to reading emails.

Either way, I can't process all the emails I get from various sources, but with folders, at least I can prioritize what I want to read and what I feel comfortable postponing for later (or never :P).
