How much one life matters is in direct proportion to how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.
What does one life matter?

One life does not matter, for only the cause of the Unity is relevant.
1 life can make a load of difference.

Einstein made many advances in science, Hitler started a horrible regime that caused the deaths of millions, but individual doctors save many lives during their career as well, some people found the cures and vaccines for various illnesses.

1 life can make quite a difference, whether it be for good or ill.
One life matters because it influences the events of the universe itself. What does one life matter? What of a homeless person? Though that homeless hobo may not influence someone directly, a person walking nearby may inadvertently be influenced to live differently after they've seen where the choices in life have led another. Even the death of someone not yet accomplished in life affects the entire order of things, someone who's looking for a connection to someone else may never find that someone, the firm that was going to hire that employee will never get their prized worker, the children he may have had will never come to be. So what does one life matter? In view too close to appreciate, one may think life is worth nothing. But in the scheme of things one life can make the difference.

Thanks for the giveaway!

A life matters how much someone wants it to matter, depending on that someone's opinion on that life.
Lively BUMP!
Considering that this is the Kickstarter project I pledged the most to, I'm not entering, but +1.

The lives of my children matter a lot to me.
What does one life matter...... It varies, and I think each can be discribed as a gaussian with that person at the very center.......

I'm in, thanks.
wow I'm in +1
i'm in even though i'm not that philosophical but here is my answer:

I think one life matters a lot but i'm not going to lie: some life matters more to me then others and some life doesn't matter at all to me. I will try to help a stranger but there are a lot of people this world would be better of without. My partner means everything to me so i would say her life matters most to me. I don't think anything could change that even though i realise that sounds naive but that's how i feel. We don't have children yet so i can't comment on that.

That's my honest but simple answer to a very deep question.
Two days BUMP!
4 days BUMP!
Another 2 days BUMP!
One life doesn't matter at all in the great of things.
Monthly BUMP and news:

I've added another copy of the game to my pledge (that's why this BUMP is a little early, to add the donation to reach the 4.5M). I intend to add a new copy each month... if the budget permits it.

Aaaand, that's all. Monday morning. Not very talkative. ISC out.
