Sir Bonehead: I'm glad I looked at this post. Not so much for the giveaway, but I did not know Amazon was giving away free games. I'm afraid to ask, but how long has this been going on?
Well, not giving away, technically, since you'll still have to pay for their Prime subscription service. But in practice there's always a family member or a friend that will have Prime and doesn't have any use for those keys (and forums are absolutely flooded with these Prime keys).

They've featured gog keys every few months for a while now. October '21 (Ghostrunner) is the earliest I could find in my library.

Amazon are frequently (if it isn't already the default by now) offer free trial periods (usually 1, 3 or 6 months) without obligation to continue after said trial (user vigilance is required to cancel) before it auto-renewals, obviously...

Yes, technically they are not completely free, but we have had Prime for years now so it's free for me. I have seen the multiplayer items and stuff before but had no idea they were giving away full games for free if you have Prime. Games can be costly so it's good to know about this.

Note, though, that Doc's giveaway here includes Shadow of War Definitive Edition, the version from Amazon Prime is only the standard edition. The definitive edition contains the Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion, Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion, Slaughter Tribe Nemesis Expansion, and Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion.

Fronzel's answer (October 2021) is correct in regard to Amazon Prime first giving away GOG keys. But Amazon Prime has been giving away non-GOG games (Prime Gaming, Epic, Origin, etc.) for years before that. The rate is about 5-10 games a month (mostly Prime Gaming, usually only 1-3 are not), with giveaways beginning around the first of the month and lasting a month.

This is very tempting. I watched the gameplay trailer and witnessed so many heads flying. Pretty much summerizes my work week mood. xD Best I stay away from this game for now. :P
