Genesis Alpha One Deluxe Edition mixes thrilling roguelike mechanics with a deep ship builder and fast first-person action, putting you in the role of an interstellar pioneer. Now this awesome title is available to claim for free until October 30th, 2 PM UTC!

What are you waiting for? Own your copy and deal with terrifying alien infestations and clone creatures while exploring a vast, randomly generated universe.
Now this is a nice surprise. Thanks, Radiation Blue & GOG!
I personally had a blast with this game. It's a bit of a rough gem, so I highly recommend it. Also, the soundtrack is pretty good.
This GA is exclusive to GoG. I checked Steam and they still have to pay for it. It's only five bucks, but it's five more than what we get over here.
Thank you very much for the game!
Thanks!

SCPM: Thanks for the giveaway, I liked the concept for this one, but I'm waiting on a better computer to play through.

Also, GOG Galaxy is now available on the Epic store, where they reveal that the next freebie will be Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Collection from Oct 31st to Nov 3rd:

I wonder if Epic Games would still have the rights to One Must Fall. I got mixed messages from the Elam brothers years ago. Freeware of course but would be nice to have here. https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/one_must_fall_2097

And Unreal Tournament 3 Black.

§pec†re: I almost missed this.
Glad you didn't - it's a really good one!

I had a ton of fun - first and super obvious is the amazing atmosphere. I LOVED the '80s era sounds and sights, from the way you clack on the mechanical keyboard to the totally Alien inspired ship.

And the gameplay loop is really good. You'd sort of plot your course for the resources you need, then spend your time scanning objects, beaming things aboard, running away team missions and (NEVER FORGET THIS ONE!) doing "security sweeps" of your ship heh. Every time you do one of the above things, you risk bringing on board unwelcome guests and it pays to routinely do a quick sweep of your ship to make sure they're not setting up shop.

It's all a bit "samey" but it just works, and like I said falling into the flow of the gameplay loop feels natural and fun.

There's also research which is something I always love no matter how minimal it might be - adds a layer of depth and progression. Ditto for the "management" side.

And I'm usually not into "builder" games - but this one makes building out your ship a snap. I find a lot of times in city builders or whatever I'm fighting placement and rotation and never quite seeing how something is or isn't going to fit. Here it was always a cinch to plop something where I wanted it.

I always felt this was a game I left too soon - maybe this little writeup will inspire me to fire it up again!
Thank you for the freebie.
Thanks GOG
As always, thanks for the giveaway! Plus, this one actually seems like something I might try one of these days (as opposed to the usual giveaways :P)!!
Nice freebie, thanks GOG!
Thank you for the free game!
