I don't mean to have the old system back, I mean access to the PMs that we users have been sending since the system started working until you changed it for the chat. Because some people had some info, keys or conversations there and didn't have time to save all before the Account changes were applied. I'm assuming they have not been erased, just unavailable at the moment. So if you could make an archived section and display them separetely from the chat, that'd be convenient.

I'm not a fan of making separate threads for this kind of complaints, but... fuck it, this time I'm doing it. We need access to the old PMs. Yes WE, I'm gonna assume 'everyone' needs it or at least would not be against it.

Apparently they're working on importing them to the chat, but yeah, poor user experience across the board this week.

Reasonable request. Maybe support can just retrieve your information, if they aren't willing to do an entirely new "archived" site feature.

I sent a ticket to support and their reply was:

Yeah, a few giveaway keys people messaged me (to give away to others) were lost because of this, but I appreciate that they're working on it.

Darvond: It only looks worse than it is due to a vocal minority coming out of the woodwork who couldn't be bothered to lurk the forum/read the stickies.
To be fair, knowing the answers to the questions, for the most part, doesn't make a whole lot of people feel any better about this week's changes.

I'd appreciate a bigger box for writing messages, too. I'd like to be able to write a proper long message, and on the tiny textbox it's kinda difficult. I don't want to send a lot of less thought short ones, because that gives a huge notification number among other things.

Don't know about others, but I was too busy enjoying the Good News™ on the Account, like the new impossible-to-manually-sort Library. Heh.
