I want to gift someone a game, but I can't, because it seems that it's only possible after 3 months and purchasing games worth of 10 $. I'm member since ca. 5 weeks. I tried with credit card and wallet, both not possible. No solution for that except waiting?

Yikes, it's up to 3 months? That's harsh. It used to be that there was no restriction on gifting, but scammers figured out that they could create new accounts to buy gifts as a means of laundering money from stolen credit cards - stuff like that. So GOG had to find ways to mitigate that. It doesn't affect old customers, but is a pain for newcomers like yourself, especially during sales.

Try contact support - they might be able to help you get a gift before the cooldown ends.
