Hello follow goggers,

a while ago, gog advertised the "get your game back" action where you , if i didnt get it wrong, can activate the cd key of specific games so they get added as a digital edition to your library.

some of those are the stalker games which i tried to activate by tping in my original cd keys into the gog "redeem code" page but it didnt work at all (none of the 3 stalker keys worked).

i did write the support but because they seemed to be a bit overloaded and i didnt hear from them for weeks now, i wanted to ask here if anyone knows a solution or knows if i did it completely wrong and typed my keys into the wrong window like an idiot, so maybe i can close my ticket.

Quite simply not all keys will work. GOGs database of keys (specifically for the Stalker series) is actually incomplete and there were also leaked batches of keys online around the time reclaim your game was announced. No doubt some scummers / grey makret resellers made use of them.

As it is, the games do go on sale very cheaply during the major sales, so theres always that.

Edit: additionally reclaim your game hasnt been promoted by gog in many years

thanks for all the answers, looks like i did it right and the keys just dont work....

ill see how to solve it...maybe the support can help because i actually own the originals already more than once (because of the bundles back then) so i m not sure if i ll get it another time.

No, CD key is enough. I successfully "reclaimed" my STALKER copy years ago.

got an answer from the support now and it is like that...they have just the keys they did get and i looks like none of my versions do have a fitting one....too bad

ZombieIX: got an answer from the support now and it is like that...they have just the keys they did get and i looks like none of my versions do have a fitting one....too bad
always the possibility of a cheap sale or even a cheapo second hand hardcopy activating at least.
