LESS THAN CAPPIN' ZERO. but i vague lee remember my grandpa used to have, like... a... uuuh... plot then? is that what its called? he grew all sorts of produce-things. probably drugs, too.

all good fun.

so! i know there are overhead 'farming' games likeee stardew valley, harvest moon and... etc (?), but are there any 1st person 'sim' ones? i mean you get 1st person fishin', an' deep-sea divin', an'... slime collectin' (?!), but why not gardening? is it because, i mean... how would you depict havin' to wait months? hmmm.

Minecraft? Well, to some extent, at least. There's probably a mod that makes the crops grow in more realistic timeframes. And not only crops, you can have animals as well, pigs, chickens, cows... I think.

I love it and I'm very very far from being a grandfather. :D

I grow mostly tomatoes, but always try something new each year. This year is pumpkin year ! \o/

As for indoor, I used to grow weed for many years. But this year, don't have much time for it, so... :(

I love gardening, my kitty help fertilizing the garden. So i think she also love gardening. Such wonderful helper she is!!

1-2 . My family used to garden all the time when both parents were alive and younger....then we slowly grew out of it as they lacked the time/attention to do so.

3. Most gardening/farming games have time acceleration sliders to slow/speed up time.

4. Now i'm reminded of the GTA series.

Slime Rancher does have some simplistic FP gardening though. You sow vegetables in plots and grow fruit trees in order to feed your slimes and stuff.
There used to be a gardening thread on here ages ago - pretty sure I remember Tauto waxing lyrical about his strawberries there

Personally, I'm a keen gardener even though I'm new to the hobby and I only have a tiny back yard. I like Japanese gardens, especially the tsubo-niwa (Google it if you're interested in seeing some beautiful things), and I like to think my garden shows that interest.

Gardening is all the rage here in the UK at the moment, and everyone's doing it to relieve stress, but that seems sketchy to me. Ain't much zen to be found when the birds are ripping up your moss garden, your Edgeworthia is dropping its leaves by the hour and the aphids are eating your Viburnums.
Staxel.
Don't quote me on this but if I remember right...
I think at least one of the Creatures games had gardening mechanics.
