bansama: Remember with GamersGate they can only sell the US versions of EA games to the US (with very few exceptions). They can sell the UK versions worldwide (with one exception). However, strictly speaking, GamersGate are not actually allowed to advertise the presence of the EA UK games to those outside the UK. But they sneak this in when possible (such via advertising the US daily deal, or adding it to the top rotating banner.

When it comes to discounts, EA UK are not as generous as EA US. And to even see a 33% discount on a UK prices is a bloody miracle. Either that, or it's actually a permanent price drop.

There's also several other Sims expansions discounted on the UK site, so it's either a Sims sale or those are price drops. (May have to wait until the newsletter on Friday-ish to find out).
There's a -33% sticker on the DS2 UK sale page, just like there's a 66% on the US one. Just a sale it seems. That said, those tend to happen before price drops as well so it may be soon.

Either way, not really that interested in the game anyway at that price point. Sims games ... though I'd love to own them, will try and get them on steam, when/if they are still available later(considering Origin) and when/if they are ever at a reasonable pricepoint.

metalkidz: I have bought Poker Night from Telltale, this game can't activate on Steam
Yes you can. There's a special page for a Steam key for that game here: Link

That's generally how price drops first appear. As for whatever reason, GamersGate treat permanent price drops as sales for a month or two before adjusting the base price.

Demon War is at 50% off on Gamersgate. That means it's now $5. Is it worth it? I don't know, it depends on what you're looking for. It doesn't add any major changes to Din's Curse; it's closer to a DLC than a full expansion pack. Some of the gameplay changes are really fun though, such as the Invasion modifier.
Impulse :

Capcom games 50% off ( region restrictions )
@Pheace: Thx so much, they don't mention about this in confirmation email

Well, if they had bothered to discount the base game, I'd have bought both. But as I have the base game on Impulse, I'll have to skip this =/
Dead Rising 2 50% for $19.97 off at GameTap. Did anyone play it? At $10 I'd buy it blindfolded.
Power of Defense is the daily deal on Steam
Have someone tried using GamersGate Majesty 2 expansions on Steam version?
Amidst Gamersgate's weekly avalance of discounts are the first few episodes of Winter Voices for half off. Has anyone played them? I've been interested in WV for a while, but thus far I've put off checking it out until the first set of episodes is complete. I'm also a bit concerned because RPS makes it sound frustrating and tedious, and I don't really want to play frustrating tedious games, no matter how interesting the concept.

Maybe they will work with the Impulse version .

I did tell you that none of them activate on Steam. :P

EDIT: Just saw the TF2 items page. They did this with Sam & Max Season 3 as well but don't expect it to be the norm... It wasn't mentioned in your confirmation email because it's a secret. It's simply to allow Telltale customers to get the TF2 items and I think it actually costs Telltale money (because they're basically buying a Steam copy for you).

The guys at RPGWatch and the Codex also don't seem to have much faith in the game.

Have you played the first one?
You don't have to or anything, but if you have, it's like that, but even better I'd say. Way better graphics, especially.

I've beat the first game on 360 and I have the second one, so I don't know anything about the PC ports... should be fine. I think it would be much better with a gamepad, but that's just me.

Basically if you like a game with a pretty good story, but one you DON'T have to follow, mixed with some awesome gore and dozens of makeshift weapons, you'd probably love it. Is that an actual genre? I dunno.

If you like games where you can run around and shoot zombies with bow and arrows then yes you should buy it. Also you can dress like a lady and stick showerhead in a zombies face and watch the blood flow out of the nozzle.
Poker Night is weird.

I bought it at Telltale because it was a Telltale game, and that sale was going on so I basically got it for free. But then it activated on Steam... I didn't know that was still possible.
