Beamdog weekend sales (one price worldwide)

Kings Bounty: The Legend $3.75
Kings Bounty: Armored Princess $6.25
Kings Bounty: Crossworlds GOTY (Includes Armored Princess) $6.25
Operation Matriarchy $4.99
Port Royale 2 $2.49
Mashed Fully Loaded $4.99
Obulis $3.75
Battle Mages $3.75
The Pirate Treasures $1.25
Warband is worth the money. It takes vanilla Mount & Blade and adds new features, makes the game run better, and look better. It doesn't add a huge amount of content, but it refines what the base game does.

I've yet to see any reason to buy Fire & Ice though. The big touting feature is GUNZ~! Which you could add into M&B through mods since I started playing the game during the beta period. Every other feature (new map & factions) can be gotten from mods. There's no reason to plunk 13 dollars for it.

Grab Warband, pass on M&B Vanilla (unless you want mods not ported to Warband), and pass on Fire & Ice.

PhoenixBlade: Steam Weekend deal is Mount&Blade:

The base game and the expansion with 80% each
Or 60% for the Complete Pack which includes the upcoming With Fire & Sword expansion

Question: is it worth it? Anyone who owns/ has played the game can recommend?
I've got the first one and it's pretty cool it just takes a lot to get used to controlling. The game play is like Pirates! except that you're on horseback everywhere. You can dismount but for the most part your meant to be riding.

The more enhanced version which allows for multi-player is Warband but I'm personally passing on it as you can see that there is now a third and newer game "Fire and Sword" (or something like that) and the games are not sequels just enhancements over each other.

Do consider that they seem to be taking place in two different era's/locales (without modding). Warband is more typical medieval style, knights armor etc but Fire and Sword looks to be more Polish/Russian/Cossack? style and also includes Guns (muskets) rather than the Warband version.

So depending on your taste the newest version may put you off if you're new to the series and the style doesn't quite suite you. (The pictures on the steam page probably show the difference relatively well)

Yeah, I didn't mind the style/era (reminded me a little of Dynasty Warriors) and I thought that including guns added a new depth.

I had felt so robbed previously because I had found out about Warband the day after I bought M&B.

Cargo is on sale for five bucks off at Impulse.

Without a demo I'm not sure if this will even work on my PC and I just went through a refund process with Impulse that took two months so I'm not going to risk it.

Kabuto: Where's the Valve sale? I thought for sure there'd be one with the release on Portal 2 not to mention free valve pack donations for hardcore potato hunters.

One of these days I'll complete my custom orange box (no TF2) while playing HL2 after having completed the two episodes.

Pheace: T-minus 2 months when the Summer sale hits ;)
That makes the HL2: EP 2 midweek sale all the more odd. It came out of nowhere and why ep 2?

It was back towards the end of March. Episode 2 was on sale for 2 bucks, and everyone thought we were going to get news on Ep. 3, but nothing came of it.
I just really wanted to say thanks for telling about the 10 free games on Amazon. I would have missed it entirely, and I doubt they'll give away anything *good*, but a little light Cake Mania on the side is fun.

So thanks so much! :D
Sorry for the double post here, one more try to grab the attention of a smuggler lol.

Could any kind hearted smuggler help me with purchasing a US Digital City of Heroes Going Rogue: Complete Collection on Gamestop.com. Its currently on sale at $14.99 for the digital copy. I have a US account and I have been looking for US key cheap for a good while now.

I have tried to buy it but it never adds to my basket yet other games via the digital catalogue do. Tried different browsers too just in case, I am in the UK so perhaps thats it. I can Paypal the money first of course. Thanks!

I'd help but I'm in NZ where things are even more restricted than the UK.
