Okay, not really, but it is a fun game, as is its expansion/sequel (though it's a bit shorter).

Worst case scenario, you'll not enjoy it. Then you can just uninstall it.

That it is. The Gamersgate version requires Steam. Not sure about D2D's version, but Gamersgate's apparently is the Ultra version.
