Foxhack: I've read comparisons to Velvet Assassin, which is more of a stealth game along the lines of Splinter Cell.
It's nothing like Velvet Assassin. There is some sneaking and assassination to be done, but there's also a lot more driving around, blowing up Nazi installations and doing missions. All of which is more akin to GTA. Don't get me wrong though. It's no GTA clone. But it shares more core mechanics with those games than any other.

Personally I enjoyed it a great deal and played it to completion without any serious bugs getting in my way.

But it is notoriously worse for people with ATI cards. Apparently those issues have been patched. But I'd make sure that's true of the Gamersgate version before buying if you're using an ATI card.

I haven't used any ATI cards in over four years, so I should be fine.

Foxhack: So...

GamersGate has The Saboteur on sale for ten bucks. Worth it?
It's an amazingly fun game. Buy it.

In that case get it. It was one hell of a swansong for Pandemic.
Agreed with Navagon and PoSSeSSeDCoW: I only played the PS3 version, but it was a great game. It did feel like a GTA clone, but had elements akin to Just Cause 2 also (lots and lots of destroying installations and vehicles and whatnot). The perk aspect was interesting, and it added a bit more to the game for me.

That said, I haven't tried the pc version, but if the bugs and issues are at least mostly fixed, I'm sure you could have a ton of fun with it.
Well it's not like I can play it now... :p

Maybe soon. I still have a week to think about it, eh?

trusteft: I have heard the console version is ok, but the PC version is full of bugs and the company is no more.
I've had a lot of fun with that game. The soundtrack is really good. I've tried to buy it, but I haven't found it. Buy the game.

If you live in Europe I can send you a coupon to buy it for less money (and if you use it they send me another one too). If so, just send me a PM.
Precursors is totally worth it. You'll have pretty much the same issues with Precursors that you did with White Gold, but it's worth the effort, IMO.

The Saboteur on the other hand is one of the most underrated games that came out in '09. Beyond worth it for the price.

Mexico ain't in Europe. We haven't been a part of Spain for over 150 years. But considering a lot of stores still charge me in Euros... Heh. :)

Thanks though!

Edit: You don't seem to have a GOGPM account, by the way!

Nimbus is 50% off this week on Steam.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/50000/

It's a really, really awesome game. It's an odd genre-mix, but basically just think of it as Trials HD or TrackMania, but with a space ship that doesn't have an engine. It's got exactly the same addictive "just one more go"-qualities.

I've been looking at this game for ages.

I'm limited on funds but i might sacrifice to pick it up.

It's nice to have little games like this that are clean and family-friendly without all the drama and are easy to figure out.
D2D $2.00 Tuesday: Air Strike 2, Jewel Quest: Curse of the Emerald Tear, and Virtual Villagers: The Secret City
Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter £4.49 on GetGames Activates on Steam.

GOGPM is a user made pm service, it is not officially a part of GOG but its a good wee service. Just search the forums for GOGPM and look for the user barefoot_monkey.
