I can't say I'm seeing more expansions and sequels in there than I could expect from most publishers.

lackoo1111: I bet they will announce Elven Legacy 2 , at the end of this year . Don't get me wrong , but i think they are just jumped the money over quality bandwagon .They run out of fresh ideas , just remaking their older titles under a new name , or renumbering them .
Paradox didn't develop games like Elven Legacy though, they just published them.

acare84: Look at here then. :) We will see add ons (paid DLC's) for Magicka too. :P I can't say no for expansions for Magicka because I think game will be really fun and good. I hope they will release a SDK or map editor too.

Basic game should be like for $10 so if it will be fun, I have no problem to pay another 10 bucks for expansion(s) (or wait for some deals to get em cheaper).

I loved horse armour! Brilliant frickin' expansion!
On a more sterile note; EU III's expansions have gotten pretty good reviews.
I just bought the muffin', so I'm trying to be positive about the whole thing. (I haven't played the game yet..)

I find with Paradox the best thing to do is let them release a complete edition, and then wait for a second one...

Oh please, that's a load of crap. Paradox keeps patching their games and each expansion pack is fully featured. Their games as released without expansion packs are also fully featured. Big pile of crap claim on your behalf.
