Navagon: Indie devs don't have a hive mind. In any case, if the additional content justifies its price tag I see no reason why it shouldn't be charged for.
avatar
Kabuto: Maybe I said it wrong on what I meant. It just seems kind of unfair to treat newer customers who will pay more but get less than an older customer.
Not really. The earliest buyers are taking the biggest gamble that there actually will be a finished product, and they're doing the most play testing of the game for you. Makes sense that you offer them the biggest perks.

Not sure of price and if same discount applies when buying games individually. Hope so as I already have the first two games, but definitely want the latter two.

Yep. I hope so too.

LordKuruku: Oddboxx: $25 ($12.50 at 50% off)
Stranger’s Wrath: $15 ($7.50 at 50% off)
Munch’s Oddysee: $10 ($5 at 50% off)

Oddboxx = $12.50 on sale
Stranger's Wrath + Munch's Oddysee = $12.50 on sale

So... it doesn't matter whether you have any of the games or not. You get all the games for $12.50! No having to worry about buying them individually now if you already own the original games.

(This works out the same for the other currencies, by the way.)
It isn't available for this Australian :(

FUCK IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, you're going to need to give it another ~18-24 hours before you can actually complain. It's very likely not going to show up before then.

Delixe: Really? I loved the game. Gifted it to a few peeps as well and they loved it too. Maybe i'm just used to a little pain in my shooters being a fan of R-Type, Radiant Silvergun and Borderdown :p
Never was big on R-Type. I liked Border Down but haven't played nearly enough of it. Now, Radiant Silvergun, that I dig. I've invested too many hundreds of hours into that game! XD

Let it be known, I'm a huge shmup fanatic. Not the best player on Earth, but damn if I haven't put countless hours into countless games. Beat Hazard... isn't really a shmup, though.

A more apt comparison would be Geometry Wars and the multitude of derivatives that have popped up afterwards. Except, I enjoyed the hell out of Geometry Wars\Retro Evolved\Galaxies, and found Beat Hazard to be one heck of a boring seizure. Listening to my own music didn't make it any better. If you like it, though, that's fine, we all have different tastes.

prakaa: Great game, but the achie for the steam treasure hunt was insanely high
I had to spend 20 minutes to get it. It wasn't hard, just time consuming and the devoid of fun.

It isn't available anywhere yet, my friend! Besides that, if it's not available in Australia for some reason, I'm sure somebody here can gift it to you. If not them, then me, so don't sweat it. Are the original Oddworld games available on Steam for you? If they're not, yeah, there's a good chance you're going to have to do an exchange.

hows this for a deal. i cleaned out one of my closets and come across my old copies of sam and max, dott, indiana jones/atlantis, king's quest 5, 6, 7, and my old monkey island cd's. a download of scummvm and im golden. wonder whats in the other closet now.

ps. oh wait heres x-wing, tie fighter, and the crusader games. must keep digging!
Gamersgate is now updating its page with new offers. I've got this nagging feeling that this week's sales aren't going to be as good as the first two weeks' too...

i find that this deal sucks cause it's regionally restricted to your closet ;)

I guess the deals are up.

For example Civ4 Complete (even for EU!) for 6.24 USD/EUR, which is great price!

Sid Meier's Pirates - 2.49USD / 1.74EUR
Sid Meier's Railroads - 2.49USD / 1.74EUR

And anyone has any opinions on Power of Defense: Defend Your World?

I hope this isn't GG's final list of deals, otherwise I'd be really disappointed this week. Or happy that I can finally save some money.

Gamersgate sometimes bolster sales later on. But at least the overall quality is better this week.
1C daily deal is Reign, Conflict of Nations. Anyone heard of it?

Edit: it is $5.99 or 80% off, for those interested.

Strategy Informer offers a few positive review scores (perhaps predictably the Russian scores are higher).

I'm pretty disapointed as well as there really haven't been anything I want to buy so far and there's only 5 calendar deals left. Well I got 12 games out of GOG sale at least.
