Delixe: I have a humble 4850 with only 512Mb of ram and with a little tweaking Crysis and Warhead run smooth and very pretty indeed. I also run it at 1920x1080.

The 4850 is a great card and should run Crysis/Warhead well. It's faster than the 8800s that ruled the market when the original Crysis was released.

Crassmaster: Today's Paradox deal on Gamersgate : Europa Universalis 3 Complete Edition (base game and both expansions) 60% off - $11.18
If you like strategy games, get that. Now. Before the day ends.

This piqued my interest. Is it campaign oriented?
I like single player RTS campaign games a la Warcraft III, World in Conflict, Age of Empires, Age of Mythology. Purely a matter of taste, I know there are plenty of good multi-player RTS games and freeform ones.

bansama: Overlord, Overlord Raising Hell and Overlord 2 are currently available as the "Overlord Complete pack" on Steam for $8.75 USD.

This is an RTS game in name only. You take control of a country and you run that country in every way for hundreds of years. It's a BIG strategy game. There are no small tactical battles to manage. As a national leader, you send in your forces and choose who command them, but that is the extent if your involvement. You also can't just arbitrarily go to war whenever you want...your people will revolt and form breakaway splinter republics all over the map. You need a Case for War. Politics, religion, economy, military, exploration, conquest...all of these are things you need to consider.

Best Buy's Black Friday ad has gone to the early-posting sites, a couple of very nice hard-copy deals for those in the US who want to get up early on the 27th and wait in line:

(Namely, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Far Cry 2, and Civilization IV for $4.99 each. There are some console games at other prices as well.)

That page shows those games at $20 each. Where did you get $5? The only $5 game I see listed is WoW.

There is a tab near the top of the page that says "Ad Scan". Click on it and you will see the actual scan of the ad layout. That page definitely says $4.99. I've attached a screenshot.

Hm, interesting. The text at the bottom says otherwise but I trust the flyer image over the prices marked by the website staff.

Ah, thanks for the response. Not my cup of tea then. I saw the video and I wasn't sure if that was just a map phase like Medieval or something.
