nmillar: Yup, region restricted. Still full price in the UK store. :(

Is gifting possible through Ubistore? I can PayPal someone the money ...
I don't know, it likely depends on how the keys work.

EDIT: I guess you can give them as per GoJay's post.

You're welcome!

I didn't check whether there was a gift option or not, but you can add more than one copy to your cart, and they'll give you that many keys when you check out.
Anyone think the Batman steam deal will come back at Xmas, problems with my bank transfer today so not getting paid till Monday which sucks a bit. Does it appear a lot in steam sales?.

The indie packs have been the only deals that have really wow'ed me during this sale. Looks like I might be waiting for the Holiday one for the most part. Just to add -- the ten packs are Total War, Dawn of War, Freedom Force, and Portal.

Indeed -- I think I might bite on this one. Great value and I can see myself playing all the games in it.
Tropico 3 gold seems like the best deal today, apart from the indie pack.
Is Empire: Total War fun?
Tropico 3 and Machinarium are stupendously good deals.

The indie pack looks kind of intriguing. But another copy of WoGoo is almost a deterrent at this point. Still, I'll give it a look.

TheCheese33: Is Empire: Total War fun?
Yeah, it's fully patched up now. So it's a hell of a lot better than it was at launch. There was even recently a patch for it to help sort out the AI. I've invested well over 100 hours in it already. It's definitely a bargain.

In comparison to the other Total War games? Not really, unless you don't mind downloading literally hundreds of mods. Napoleon would be a better buy as someone who doesn't own Empire, it's a much better experience. I don't know why it isn't on sale as well.
