michaelleung: No, I think he means the EA Store.

Navagon: No. Tiberium Sparklepires. Sorry, Twilight.

That said, EA Store does usually pack activation limiting securom. But it seems to be automatically refunding and completely transparent. I've never had a problem with it.
I don't have any problem with EA's DRM .

This isn't the usual activation limiting securom deal. This is always online DRM. Meaning if there's any slight blip in the connection between you and EA the game gets put on hold until it's re-established. That's not a form of DRM that's used in any other EA title.

When EA cuts support for the game - that's that.

Thanks for the info . Looks like my C& collection will be incomplete. But SimCity 4 Deluxe ( EA Store ) is still on my wishlist .

Do yourself a favour and avoid Tiberium Twilight anyway. EA pulled the massive production values of C&C3 and RA3 so it's not as enjoyable to watch and the only real highlight of the video sequences is Joe Kucan. Also they decided to change the entire gameplay making it not C&C anymore. Terrible ending to the franchise.

The only C&C thing in that abomination is Kane. Well and the tiberium you occasionally see, I suppose.
I thought KW was a bit disappointing after C&C3, but it was a god compared to Tiberian Twilight.
Upside: It's Osmos for £1.25!
Downside: As sold by Microsoft.

I don't know. I don't think they can be gifted. A proxy of some kind maybe?

Guild Wars Triology is today's Direct 2 Drive 50% off game - for those of you whom are too original to play WoW.

D2D has one more day to toss up something good but this sale har appears to be following an MMO theme.

Navagon: I bought Saboteur. MoH is tempting.
Using some nice VPN magic I also bought Saboteur. But decided to pass on MoH as it's bound to be even cheaper within the next year or so and I have no immediate need to play that right now.

Mind you, I won't be playing Saboteur until next month as it's apparently a 14 gig download. So I'll wait till I get my fiber optic connection.
D2DUK has a coupon that ends on Monday - use the "savemore" coupon on purchases 29.95 pounds or more and you save 25% off the price.
free game of the day at Giveaway of the Day is Brickshooter Egypt

I reached the same conclusion about MoH. I haven't backed Saboteur up yet, so I checked the download folder size and it's a touch over 7GB. Whatever you read may be referring to the HD space needed to download and install as the install size is the same.

The EA downloader states it wants 14 gigs. I guess they could be a little clearer and state the download size and the space required on the hard drive. I guess I'll download it tomorrow if it's only a 7 gig download.

Bah. Compressing it with 7zip leaves 314 MB over the size of a DVD. Oh well.

What?! I try that with Winrar and it only goes to 100 megs less the original size.
