I went ahead and bought Mirror's Edge and Dead Space. Chalk up another $16 to my excessive summer games expenditures.
It amazes me how much money I've parted with due to digital distro sales. You can get so much stuff at bargain prices if you keep an eye out, but in the end, I'm also spending a lot more money on games than I otherwise would.

Exactly. Now I have almost 300 licenses of various games due to the constant promotions.
Last time Dead Space went on sale on steam, it was $10 for NA and $15 for many others.
$8 would take this game to my "buy right away" area, but I'm not in NA.
Thanks EA.
VVVVVV now $4.49 on GamersGate. Nice to see them price matching =)

drmlessgames: Didnt know Gamersgate had those NA only offers too. How Elemental.

Yeah, I've been bitten by an N/A for NA sale (I think it was Space Rangers 2). I've heard, unofficially, that the way around it is to order from the UK based store. Didn't find in time to test, though.
Uh - Elemental? You mean those annoying little clan power-armor suits that came 5 for a C-bill in Mechwarrior? Is GamersGate selling MechWarrior now? Ah, I get the reference! Gamer's Gate has for sale, 60% off today - $12 (50% or $20 for the bundle). Crysis is, of course, the engine for Mechwarrior Living Legends (MWLL for short), an attempt to bring Mechwarrior back from the grave.
It is unfortunate that Smith & Tinker's Mechwarrior will likely never see the light of day, now that Harmony Gold's lawyers are suing over the 'Unseen' mechs. Bah. Looks like the Unseen are getting the shaft again.
edit: Elemental?
edit-edit: 'The Unseen'

Crysis if $11.98, Crysis : Warhead is $7.98 and the Max Edition is $19.97.
Is Crysis Warhead "interacting" with Crysis?

trusteft: Is Crysis Warhead "interacting" with Crysis?

They are both stand alone games. While it's better to play Crysis first you don't need to. It's essentially two characters going through the same story but with different experiences. Warhead is the better game though as it's better optimised and arguably Psycho is a more interesting character than Nomad.
Hi all.
Well, for all my "digital distribution deals" needs, I just visit http://www.deals4downloads.com on a regular basis (and follow them on Twitter too). It's really helpful, hope It helps you guys as well.
GamersGate EA sale continues with Mass Effect 1-day sale (forgive rounding, please):
Mass Effect - $8 (60% off)
Mass Effect 2 - $15 (half off)
Mass Effect Bundle - $25 (half off)
Mass Effect DD Bundle - $30 (half off)
What is Digital Deluxe, anyway?
Gotta have a real video card for ME2, only Nvidia GeForce 6800 and better and AMD Radeon X1600 pro and beyond are supported, but they specifically exclude support for the 100 and 300 series of NVIDIA cards and 200/350 series of Radeon HD cards.
Of course, all are bundled with some sort of protection - both say: "An Internet connection is required for online authentication." Yuk. Is that like UbiDRM? Does that require the crappy ea client software?
