PincushionMan: Impulse has Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box for $15. Not sure it's worth that, 'cause I've seen it for 1/2 that at a certain giant's summer sale. I suppose it's a hook for the 5 or 10 other pieces of DLC that are out there (at about 9$ a pop), including a pack of cars that includes flying Delorian among other 80s favorites.
Also, it doesn't seem to like any joysticks that I have (either analog or USB). I've heard it requires the Xbox360 USB joystick - not sure, but seems likely. All I can say is at a specific point (either license B to A or A to ?), the rather hapless drivers become very vicious drivers, and playing with a keyboard becomes prohibitively hard.

I have the game and 2 of the DLCs with the cars. It's a good arcade racer and worth the price, but if you do not have a problem with buying DLCs and have a console, get the console version instead. More DLCs there and major ones too. I wish I had that version instead of the PC version for that reason. I wanted to play cops and robbers so much...plus I think the DLC/expansion pack with the extra island, is only console too.
Not that the game as is, even without any DLC, is not good.

Catshade: Additional RPGs on sale on Gamersgate:
Sacred 2 50% off ($14.98)

Hmm, Star Wolves 3 is NOT compatible with Windows 7? Oy! Wonder if it works with Wine?

Ralackk: It has some nice ideas for the diablo clone genre but its not a great game in itself. The crafting is great. The combat though starts off really hard and then after a while it flows better but they artificially extended the levels just to make the game last longer. Instead of one long area to get from a to b they put 3 identical long area's between each. They do this throughout the entire game.
The multiplayer is also dead, it was dead when the game was new and to beable to play multiplayer you need to sign up a ton of different places and through a maze of websites. It took me 15 minutes to get the game online only to find out no one else was playing.
So it kind of depends how into the genre you are. I mean it looks quite nice and once you put a bit of time into it the combat flows quite well with lots of killing and not to much downtime. But it is a bit of a mindless game even more so then usual.

Thanks! Then I think I skip it. It's not about the multiplayer since I seldom play multiplayer games (except the good old Eve Online) but I already have too much Diablo clones on my accounts which I have yet to play with.

acare84: How is Loki? It is worth it for $3.39 on Gamersgate?

Loki is pretty cool. I bought it a couple days ago w/ Beyond Divinity. I was more stoked about BD, but after playing that for like 2 mins I was ready to shut it off. The voice acting was TERRIBLE... so bad it made me want to run away screaming.
So, I played Loki instead. Started as a Mage (can't think of the class off hand; the Egyptian dude) and got my a** handed to me several times. In the beginning the enemies are pretty manageable, but in a matter of a few minutes, you get gang-banged and it's literally run/cast/run which takes forever to kill even one enemy as you have to hit them at least 4-5 times. I was about to give up on Loki too because of this, but decided to try the Norseman. He's a bada** and can wipe out enemies pretty dang quick. Although, I did not get swarmed as bad as I did with the Egyptian dude; dunno why. Maybe I was playing smarter and not running around the map like a lunatic. At any rate, it was a good time and definitely worth the 3-4 bucks.

I wouldn't buy Stargate Resistance for $4.99. Underfunded, rushed and no single player. As a Stargate fan I wept when this was released. Might as well just download a mod for Half-Life.

Delixe: Ya, I know nothing about most of those games on sale, and they don't really interest me (maybe Divinity 2, but that's about it) and it's a good thing... I spent way too much on games this week. And trying to find spare time to play them is a problem in itself.
GoGamer.com 48-hour Madness:

Blood Bowl: $3.90
Gothic 3 - Forsaken Gods: $3.90
RPG Game Pack (Gothic 3 and Dungeon Lords): $3.90
Majesty 2: $4.90
Unreal Anthology: $6.90
Death to Spies: $9.90
Time of Shadows: $9.90
Rise of Flight: $14.90
Call of Duty: Word at War: $16.90
Mass Effect 2: $16.90
Aliens vs Predator: $19.90
Age of Conan: $19.90
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat: $19.90
Splinter Cell Convictions: $27.90
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: $39.90!!! Cheapest I've ever seen it.
Singularity: $39.90 (Direct2Drive has always had it at this price, so not much of a sale price.)
Some pretty decent games I'm might say.

DLCs do not work with this version of Borderlands. Be careful with that.
