bansama: Your best bet, if you cannot use any of the other payment options is to let support know. Hopefully, it'll speed GamersGate up in providing a better alternative payment option.

lowyhong: Yeah I've already informed them. Their payment system seems to be very wonky. I mean, I bought NWN2 Gold + Majesty Gold for only $2. That is by far the best damn offer I ever got for game(s). I still don't know how I managed to glitch past their payment system. Anyway, I offered to buy some blue coins to make up for the amount that I owe, but I can't because Paypal isn't accepted rofl.

Yep, certain publishers (and blue coin purchases) cannot be made via Paypal because of fraud issues. Last I talked to them, they were trying to get it sorted out...no joy so far.

I just saw that too. I'm genuinely curious because I haven't played any of the Guild games: is it still worth buying the rest if I buy this? Otherwise, I'll be putting off buying this until it's on offer. No sense in buying the previous games since this seems to be an improvement over it's predecessors.
There's this new game coming out on Gamersgate, called Star Ruler. It's another 4X-space strategy game, apparently an RTS like Sins of a Solar Empire. Looks good, and with the usual pre-order goodies, it's worth checking out.

Well, seeing as The Guild 2 isn't as good as it's GOG counterpart, I'd say no. And for those in the US, here's GoGamer's deals

How does it work? Is the game you get for free dependent on the price of the game you bought?

TheCheese33: Dawn of War II half-off. HALF-OFF!? Is this game any good? My finger's on the Buy button...
What's it like, compared to other RTSs? More Starcraft or C&C?

In thread post necro. *zombie groan*

PoSSeSSeDCoW: It's fun, but is repetitive and not as good as C&C or Starcraft IMO.

Dude, that post is a year old. Or 4775 posts ago. I doubt his finger's still on the Buy button.

Argh. I hate it when I accidentally click on the first page instead of the last. v_v

True. He could have died at that moment and his body been left undiscovered (by uruk) until now.

Well at least he now has an answer. Although it may have lost its informative qualities.

Dawn of Discovery (Anno 1404) Gold is $9.95 on Gamersgate. But I have questions, non GOLD without the expansion version is $29.95 on GG also only Venice is $9.95 is there a mistake? Also this game is using Tages DRM this has been removed or game still has the DRM? $9.95 price tag for this game and expansion bundle is so tempting I might buy with DRM too.

Although it looks like it, the pricing is not a mistake, I checked that when I noticed Settlers 7 Gold was listed as $29.95 while the standard edition was only discounted to $39.95. The answer from GamersGate is that they are simply using the prices given to them by Ubisoft for the sale (these prices vary depending on region too apparently) and even GamersGate couldn't understand the reasoning behind some of them.
As for your other question, yes Tages is still present, but you don't need to worry about chasing up activation limits from Ubisoft as GamersGate will reset the limits for you. Also, if you don't like the idea of Tages being left on your machine after installing the game, Tages do now provide the ability to uninstall it. Just download their Tages installer/uninstaller and that'll apparently remove it all.
And yes, the pack is well worth $9.95 -- I picked it up last week.
