I love the music on the D2D video - is that what is in the game?

Yeah, though if I recall it's only at the start and end? I'm not sure about D2D version but box version you get free soundtrack. The in-game soundtrack is excellent anyway.

Lou:

That particular song is not in the game. That's the Junkie XL remix of "Still Alive" (no relation to portal).
I bought a retail disc opy for $9.99 so I don't feel so bad and it came with a music cd of "still alive" and the five remixes. Still waiting for EA to put the DLC on sale. I'm not paying $9.99 for 7 maps when I bought the whole game for that price

Thanks - gave me the extra incentive to log on and pick up Iron Grip: Warlord and Condemned: Criminal Origins which were on sale.
If you know where to get the Soundtrack from Mirror's Edge - point me to it. Thanks.

Mirror's Edge is a great game, specially for $5. Not perfect by any means (a bit too much trial and error in some places, and the combat is somewhat awkward), but I *loved* it - more than I thought I would. I'd love to see a Mirror's Edge 2 soon.

Amazon has it, $1 per track or $9 for the whole album.

Thanks - saw it there, was hoping for a free soundtrack but I guess not. Lisa Miskovsky Imports are $28+ Have to see if a local shop has them cheaper.
The boxed edition does not come with the soundtrack that's listed on Amazon. Just "Still Alive" and 5 other remixes of it.
I don't think the soundtrack was ever offerred for free.

And how about a lossless, high quality version?

While soundtracks should probably be given away to promote the game, you can't expect that when they're flogging it at $1 for a single compressed MP3 that probably isn't even 320 kbps.

And how about Santa dressed up as Buddy Christ scooping up an award for Best Elvis Impersonator? If they're charging $1 a track for the MP3 version, do you even want to know how much it would cost to get something of decent quality?

Sweet! I didn't know Condemned: Criminal Origins was on sale. And for only $3.50! Great buy. Thanks for pointing that out.
How is Iron Grip: Warlord? I have been looming my cursor over the purchase button, but I don't know if I really want another FPS game, though the combined RTS element sounds interesting.

There must be a demo of it, you can try it. It is a fun game but graphics are so bad and it is using Quake 3 Engine. Ah I found the demo link.

I'm actually mildly interested in Red Alert Uprising for $4.99. Anyone in the US willing to help me get it?
