Does the retail version of XIII have no tages?
Thief: The Dark Project -- .90
COD:MW2, free to play, this weekend on Steam.
Though I am having troubles starting the download. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

This always happens when STEAM has free weekends. Too much interest, too little servers.

I would understand slow downloading and stuff like that, but the stupid thing does not even show in my games list as a not-installed game (though it is shown in my account's transactions page), nor does it start downloading when I click the freaking link.
But oh well, its from Activision, so no surprises there.

Activision are in charge of how MW2 is accessed via Steam? Wow, that is news to me.
If you want to blame someone for this, blame Valve/Steam. It is their service. Or blame Activision/Infinity Ward for making a popular game.

Either way, still, it sucks and it does not work. :)

I don't know, I can't access the US site. You should be able to use the UK site though.

Eww....it has Tages. Fuck.....Maybe GOG will get it one day. =)
this probably has extremely limited appeal here for the reasons listed below, but I still think the sale shoud be mentioned:
1. it's consoleand handheld system games only
2.it's not an online sale, you actually have to go to a blockbuster store (not sure how common they are outside of United States)
3. your blockbuster store might carry crap, you might need to be lucky to find great deals
But anyways, blocksuster stores are having a buy 1 get one free sale on used games 14.99 or less.
I bought these (all 360 versions):
Brutal Legend
Ghostbusters the Videogame
Battlefield Bad Company
Call of Duty Waw
Gears of War 2
Saints Row 2
Ninja Gaiden 2
Lego Indiana Jones
Total spent with tax=$35.
I find that to be an insanely good deal. So if you console guys have a blockbuster near you, you should check it out. It's not just xbox 360 games on sale, I saw a lot of wii, psp, ds and ps2 games there. Ps3 games not so much, but you might find some
edit-Just found out cod:waw and sr2 don't work. Lame. Maybe it wasn't such an insanely good deal

You do know there is a 30 day guarentee with blockbuster used games; check your receipt.
Thanks for the heads up - I will stop by. However, usually with my local blockbusters I can barely fine one that I want.
