StingingVelvet: You should buy Bulletstorm for $8 from (shudder) Impulse because GOD DAMN was that game FUN.

Siannah: NA and Canada only..... their Ubisoft celebration showing exactly 1 item: Settlers 7 DLC pack 1+2 ..... trying to check for the maingame of that with searching for "settler" showing said DLC pack and nothing else....

How they manage to stay in business, is beyond me. I'll praise the day when all Stardock games are available on Steam or other DD services, so I can get rid of their client.
Impulse, or maybe rather Gamestop, seems to be very US-centric. Just look up the sales list on didimatic.com ;)
Never bought there, don't much care for it...

grynn: Thanks for the heads up but I hate these hidden item games even more than Train Sims.
Yeah, I think there was a similar promo a year ago, and I tried it then. I believe I even finished it, remember it being "pretty pretty", had an atmosphere going for it, and the story kinda kept me going (not that I remember any of it now).

But in the end the gameplay isn't my thing either, don't see myself paying for these. The only other HOG I tried was a demo for 3 Cards to Midnight, by the Tex Murphy creators, and as much as I wanted to like it, it was the same situation.
Anyone tried to activate Shank on Origin ?

orcishgamer: Bastards!

Guess I'll buy a bunch of cheap games for the kid or something.
Well you can only use them on the "Best Selling Downloadable PC games of 2011" when they are full price in January.

SimonG: If you want to avoid Impulse, Bulletstorm goes on sale on GG quite frequently. And yes that game is Awesome! With a capital A!
How bad is its DRM?

Game for Windows Live that checks if it's past the release day and registers the key to your Live account (single use). It didn't bother me at all.
If anyone prefers to have Witcher 2 on steam, it's 40% off ($23.99, same as GOG) until thursday at 4PM (16:00) PST.

You can play with an offline profile as well, so really it just has the release date check after installing.
