... that's a Sold Out Software release. It's the disc in a DVD case. :P
Steam's Daily Zeal is SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition, 75% off.
Want it, but US GG store has it DRM free. For a $20. Shall I wait until all that is Sim goes on a big sale there, or grab it on Steam for the Russian price of $2.45? :(
Steam weekend deal is Magicka wit 75% off. Also, feee weekend, try and test, and so on.

The last patch notes say they added a "ressurrection fairy" or some such to revive you in single player and you can save your progress every time you hit a checkpoint. It used to be that once you hit the checkpoint, the game would get saved to that point and never reset. If you killed a whole bunch of monsters afterwards and then went back to the checkpoint, nothing happened, so tough luck if you died, you'd have to kill all those monsters again.

These two changes makes me wonder if single player will finally be possible for me.

Only the core game and the complete pack are discounted.

Individual DLC is not for some stupid reason.
Avadon Black Fortress is on sale for $2.50 from Amazon digital and D2D. At this price, i'm really tempted to give it a try.

Good game, try it, there is also demo for it. I have played it to 3 a.m. yesterday :D

But there are reported problems with D2D and GG versions (probably because of DRM they use or some wrapper), the game is laggy and almost unplayable on larger maps (even though graphics is very simple).

I was thinking about refund, but the game is too damn good to leave it :) But luckily if you write to Spiderweb Software support, they should send you key for version downloadable from their site (without 3rd party DRM). I have wrote them today, still waiting...

edit: they sent me key the next day, cool guys :)

Did it? It asks me to pay, even if I choose trial. Either they really hate me, or it's the same for everyone, as some kind of "anti actual free trial" system.

They want to keep profanity out of Prime.

It requires payment information, but it won't charge anything until the trial is over, you should disallow the automatic renewal then.
