Petrell: Anyone from US willing to gift me Drakensang the Dark Eye, Drakensang: The River of Time and Drakensang Phileasson's Secret. I can pay back with blue coins (can send them in advance if need be). How much blue coins would it require (the three would cost mere 12$ for US resident)?
1 USD = 1000 blue coins

gyokzoli: 1 USD = 1000 blue coins
Around 8 to 8.5€ for the 12000 BC needed then. Not too much. Now I only need someone to agree on the trade...

The question is how many blue coins game X is in USA, how many in UK and how many in Europe. The bluecoins on their own are worth about teh same price in each region, but each region has a different price in bluecoins for each game..

Yes, because they have different prices in different regions. So if they sell a game for 10 USD on the US site, it will be usually more than the equivalent of 10 USD in EUR. And that's why the blue coin prices also change all the time n the UK and EU sites due to the exchange rates fluctuations.

Exactly, so buying with bluecoins doesn't save you anything. Unless of course you manage to buy the blue coins from a region where due to the currency conversion they are cheaper AND the amount of blue coins in the region you are buying the game is worth the trouble. But then again, if you can buy the blue coins from the cheapest site, why not just directly buy the game from there lol ?

The only reason for us in USA to buy blue coins would be to enable us to get a game we are close to being able to get with the blue coins we have already accured for free from buying and reveiwing other games or what not...Say I had 5 dollars worth of blue coins, and the game I want to get is 10 bucks...well if I just bought 5 dollars worth of blue coins I could then get that game for 5 bucks instead of the 10 it would have cost me...That's the only reason I can think for people that live here....I have never bought blue coins, if they were red I might consider it! ;P

Yes it comes to just about 12 dollars...so I take it it's a lot more than that where you live?
This is how many blue Coins it is: 11970 as shown in picture below by addition. :D

2 of the 3 Drakensang titles can only be bought on the US site. Also, the third one is not discounted on the UK and EU sites.
new on GG´s sales list:
Garshasp $2.49 (-75%)

Bullet Candy ¢1.98 (-50%)

The I of the Dragon $2.50 (-50%)

there are some more but these are the most interesting to me.

trusteft: snip
Here's an example for you: Trainz Simulator 2010: Engineers Edition -

USD price: 14.98 (14980 BC)
GBP price: 12.48 (20280 BC)

£12.48 == $20.19

Thus, the US price is cheapest. If you're UK customer, you then use a US VPN, add the game to your cart and check the BC price (14980).

You then go back to your normal UK connection, buy 15000 BC, go back to your US VPN connection and buy the game with those 15000 BC. Thus saving yourself just over £3.

So yes, even with buying BC, you save money.

FYI 1000 BC on the UK site is currently 62p (the equivalent of $1)

Why would you buy the BC from the UK site???

The Dark Eye: Drakensang alone would cost me 7£ (~8€) or 10 € and it's the only one available on GG UK and EUR stores. As I mentioned 12000 blue coins would cost me bit under 8.5€.

Which part of, "for example" did you not understand?

If you're a UK based user as in the example, you'd have to buy the BC from the UK site if you're not willing to add your billing information when using a VPN/proxy.

Well, it would help then if you tried to say what for the example was, since on its own it doesn't make any sense.

Yes, if you want to not pay through VPN that would make sense, but you would still need to go through it to log in your gg account. But yes, I get your point.

Again, I'd have said it was fairly clear from my first post on the subject:
