Really, why did they choose to voice act these system messages? It's not like there's a person in-game saying these lines.
I see your point, well it can get annoying at times... although I must say, that's really a cadillac of a voice!

Bouchart: Wizard of Wor had bad voice acting but that was in the early 1980s. Have no idea what it's saying.
More like voice synthesis... but indeed that's pretty bad.
