EnforcerSunWoo: The Bard's Tale: Remastered and Resnarkled is finally here and can be removed from the list. Going to keep both versions backed up as the original release was overwritten by this.

Another off of my list, no matter how slowly is still good. There are more than a few that I have no hope for though after all this time.
It seems only Windows has been updated. Mac and Linux are still on the old version.
The dev's said they're in progress but didn't give an e.t.a. https://www.gog.com/forum/the_bards_tale_series/the_bards_tale_remastered_and_resnarkled/post36

Six years after the Steam version ^^
Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is 3 updates behind the version that is available on Steam (and XBOX and PS4).

Here we are stuck on v1.10 whereas the other platforms are using 1.13 which include a new quest and plenty of bugfixes.

The GOG version has been updated on March, 17th, the same day Steam got the latest update.
The version number means nothing because THQ Nordic always uses a different versioning scheme on GOG.

Given the publisher Embracer/THQ Nordic is currently laying off and closing devs due to their over-excessive expansion, I wouldn't count on the GOG version getting those updated anytime soon if ever. Guess I can remove that game from my wishlist.

The problem is that we don't know for sure because we didn't get changelogs here.

Latest version of Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning on GOG is build cs:15032, don't know if it's the same on Steam.

Also, both new contents from the latest patches require Fatesworn expansion: Arena Mode is unlocked after beating the expansion, and the new quest from the last patch starts at the beginning of the expansion.

I believe New Super Lucky's Tale should be added to the list. If you buy the game on Steam, for the same price it is sold on GOG, you get the game plus the original Super Lucky's Tale and its DLC. The GOG version only includes the new version.

I have already reported that the game is missing the latest update. I Contacted the developer but have not received an answer (sent them an e-mail). Maybe more people should try and contact them

Metamorphosis received a big update this August on Steam that adds new content and fixes bugs. No news for GOG.

Time to demand what we deserve ... I will storm discord and social media .... this is so ridiculous. Once again we have to do GOGs work.

I think GOG, or you, can only do a little about the game being updated in a timely manner. This is probably how the developer's priority updates: Steam>Epic>Consoles>>>GOG.

GORD developers feel updating the game's Console version is more critical than GOG.

I can annoy them and that is more than enough for me to make me feel better ;)

What is GOG's work in this case?

At least GOG is probably not trying to track all GOG games, whether they receive any updates elsewhere. That would be quite an impossible task. Valve doesn't track either how games on their store are being updated elsewhere, and whether the Steam version receives all the same content and updates. And no one expects them to.

Now, if you people have informed GOG about some missing update, THEN I agree it kinda is on GOG's turf.

I inform GOG, GOG ignores me ... eof.

I have stopped to count how often the community brought updates here after GOG failed to do so (if they even tried which I doubt). The usual experience is as follows:

Support ticket: Game is not updated ... update on Steam from XYZ ... please fix.
GOG's reply: Thank you so much ... we have forwarded this to the right department and have closed your ticket.
NOTHING HAPPENS
Community does the same and sometimes they succeed.

Not once did I experience that GOG actually managed to get an update for an outdated game by themselves after I've told them that the game is outdated. So before you are defending them I'd suggest you to see for yourself how lazy GOG is managing tickets about missing updates.

Last missing update I informed GOG about was "Someday You'll Return" and as always they thanked me and managed to do exactly NOTHING! I even asked them again if they have some news after a few months and all I got as reply was that there are no news.

The way GOG is acting in case of missing updates is nothing more than a joke and should not be defended by anybody imo.
