Hello,
we all know there's a GOGmix "Games that have native linux ports...elsewhere", which includes about a hundred games.
I'm just curious for the reason, why some games are generally available natively for linux, but not on GOG. Is it legal issues or are these games technically bad (like incompatible with some GPU vendors), so that GOG decided not to publish them in their shop?

Thanks!

Both reasons (legal and technical) have been cited by one of the staff members, with no further explanation on specific games.
I think it's partly legal, especially in the case of games that were available here before GOG supported Linux, then the existing agreement had to be updated to include Linux.

It's also partly the developer / publisher. I've tried to chase down a few, and in a few cases been told that it's just to much work for an indie / small dev to package it for GOG when the return is likely going to be pretty small.
