For me it would have to be Carmageddon. Uninstalled it so that I could have some sleep every night, and not risk losing my sanity. I plainly didn't install it on my new laptop.
For me it's more the opposite, games I should uninstall because I don't play them but leave installed in case I want to play them.
Dark Souls II; still going strong................
For me this happens once, many years ago with very first Heroes of Might & Magic. Uninstalled the game when realised I've spent about 9 hours without any break. Never tried again and gifted the game to my friend ; )
Hearthstone, i've had to uninstall it multiple times now after it mysteriously gets re-installed. ;)

My quick log-ins for one or two matches turns into 4 hours, then I start snapping at people after I have a few bad rounds and ignore everything else. It turns me into a monster every time.
I should uninstall Adventure Capitalist. That game is evil.

However, it raises the question of exponential growth games. Many rpgs use such a scheme. And some games can indeed be boiled down to "level up so I can kill bigger monsters so I can get xp so I can level up so I can kill..."

Advneture Capitalist gives you enough plates to keep spinning that you're engaged for 5 minutes, and then you can log off and your stash keeps growing. It just needs five minutes of management every so often. "Every so often" in my case is about 4 times per day.

Your typical rpg does not keep going while you are away. MMO players have grinding scripts, but not your single player games, to my knowledge.

Is a good rpg one that gives you enough plates to spin that you can stay fully engaged for hours at a time? Or is it the happy marriage of plate-spinning and story?

Admittedly, Adventure Capitalist has no story.

Cheers.
Faerie Solitaire, Bejeweled, stuff like that.
If only this was "Games that you're too lazy to uninstall them"... :p

Uhm, my mind doesn't work like that, since i have a big backlog i usually have the mentality of finishing a game so that i can start a new one so my answer is more likely multiplayer games, uhm... Don't Starver together?
But it can also be FTL, i never actually finished the game and from time to time i played a bit but i change my hard drive and didn't bother to download it again.

DITTO!

I never play Doom 3 anymore and I need the drive space but I have this constant fear I'm going to wake up in the middle of the night with insatiable craving for it. :P
diablo 2 (almost failed a semester at college) and Doom 1 b/c I played to much I started to have nightmares revolving around the game.

I probably should have uninstalled Oblivion as well when I could see the "sneak eye" in my dreams. I think that was a cry from my brain for help.
Mount and Blade : Warband. That game had a firm grip on me with its medieval claws for longer than I'd care to admit :P I had just started to build my own kingdom, when I realized how long it would take to take over the entire map, at which point I quickly uninstalled the game. Wicked fun though!
Morrowind for me. After hitting level 52-ish, I made a point of pushing through the main quest line so I could call the game "finished" and finally move on to playing something else. I two shotted the final dude, then ignored his invincible attacks while performing the last few tasks to finish the main quest line.

that is a fun game, but the learning curve for fighting is sooo steep. So much so, that when I put the game down for a bit and went back to play it, it was like I never had before. The thought of relearning all that was just too much and I haven't picked up the game again.

Yeah, some serious skill goes into the combat of that game, and even more so if you enable directional blocking. Still, even with it disabled, you need to be extremely precise with your attacks from horseback.

Once the sequel releases, and as soon as I get a proper gaming rig again, I'm jumping straight back into the action :D
I just hope they revamp the whole siege system.

Oh and I remembered another game I had to uninstall, Jagged Alliance 2. Still want to finish it one day though.
I'm addicted to Dragonage Orgins at the moment, put in 80 odd hours over the last week, I'm on Awakening expansion now.. but just like the witcher 3, all my friends are gone, and it feels lonely, well. well oghren is there lol, beer and women, that's all his intrested in haha.

Great fun.

PS Sorry Leliana :(
