Hey, it's your call.
But if you really want to play PC games on your TV while flopped on the couch, Steam's Big Picture seems to be far and away the best and easiest way to do it right now. That's all I'm saying.
(I would LOVE to see GOG implement something similar.)
It won't corrupt your soul VERY much. :)
