In the UK whenever there's been a proper heatwave someone in the TV scheduling sticks on Summer of Sam which wasn't as good as this trailer suggests.

rabblevox: Instead I found myself going to games that brought the heat (Mad Max, Fallout:NV, Firewatch). I think my lizard brain thought "at least it's not THAT hot".
If that's what you want Far Cry 2 looks hot being set in Africa and you can set everything on fire if you want it hotter.
This compares Far Cry 2 and 6.

That reminds me that Far Cry 3 and Blood Dragon should finally become DRM free. Would really like to try these games.
For me it's AC + ceiling fan + shop fan, which probably seems like overkill but it does get hot here. Also having the doors open during the very early morning before things warm up to help cool off the house, unless there is a wildfire going on.

I'd play any game that doesn't push the computer hard and cause the internal fan to come on or make it feel warmer than normal.
Age of Empire II, just a good summer game for me.
I think having AC and some fans on you, and something cool to drink on hand at all times will keep you mentally cool far more than video games.

Yeah, I was about to say, 95? Try 100 for a freakin' month down here in Texas.
I feel myself actually holding my breath/gasping after when the drought-induced dust storms roll through and damage buildings in EndZone.

Right now I'm playing AoE 1 remaster, which mostly takes place in the Mediterranean , a very hot place. The past few summers I've been playing Shantae and Doom to celebrate the heat, but I've yet to get to either of those this year.

Unbearable right? So I'm told.
(Open)TTD also has both desert(ish) and snow map templates.
