Leroux: *snip - On NWN and spellcasters*

Still, tastes differ and if you don't like the gameplay at all or you're fed up with D&D, it's fine to move on, of course. :)

Nobake: Mostly I'm just fed up with D&D. I don't like the ruleset in the first place, but the games all look really good aside from that one defect. Still, I am passingly familiar with AD&D 2E rules and I like a lot of the changes in 3E. The feats and skill system are pretty interesting, and I like the multiclassing mechanics a lot better as well. These make for much more intricate character building, which I'm a big fan of.

Regarding playing as a spellcaster, the big problem was that my minions just would not get aggro on enemies assuming they decided to attack at all. So until I loaded enough to get lucky and win, fights basically went along 1 of 3 lines:

1) Enemy is running at me. I cast a spell -> enemy is now in melee range. Cast another spell -> Attack of Opportunity -> Dead or spell interrupted -> repeat.

2) Enemy is running at me. I cast a spell -> enemy is now in melee range. Run away -> Attack of Opportunity -> Dead or keep running -> repeat.

3) Enemy is running at me. I run away -> Either I reach an NPC who kills the enemy granting me no XP or the enemy catches up and kills me.

GioVio123: Megaman Zero
The game is already hard as a pornstar's fake tits, but to actually complete the game, I had to mold my balls with stainless steel, and still didn't hurt as much as the last fucking boss, hell I almost die cuz of that son of a bitch

Nobake: That's an interesting way to put it. Not that I disagree - I had to make myself stop playing multiple times so I wouldn't throw my DS across the room.

Playing the 2nd one yet? I had difficulty beating the intro stage. I don't think I made any real progress past that.
Dude, I have the entire Megaman Zero Saga, and Megaman Battle Network might I add, since I was a child, people got pokemon, I got fucked over and at the same time became enlightened with gorgeous level design
Just played through the newest Thief reboot.

Kinda mixed opinion on it really.

Was pretty decent Thief game and i did enjoy playing it, but the "open city" is really stupid system in my opinion. Didnt like the same thing in Deadly Shadows either and now there is more of it. I would have either ditched it or put in fast travel system. Running through same places again and again is just painful.

Also they could have put few more hours into to plot and the main characters. They are really ice thin.

Wont compare to Dishonor as i havent yet played it.

Dishonored makes the new Thief look like terrible in comparison IMHO.

Well, i have that waiting for its turn, so ill get there eventually. but first i think ill play atleast "Killer is dead". Seems like "Suda enough"
Tetrobot & Co.
A great sequel to Block That Matters. As a puzzle game, it might even be better than it's predecessor, because there are no longer platform or action element included. Level and puzzle design of the game are excellent in most cases. Very often you think about the answer for a problem for a long time and in the end when you finally found the solution, you are astonished how obvious and logical it was the whole time. I really like that.
Unfortunately the game has also one level with the worst puzzle design I've ever seen. Note to the developers: When you create a puzzle game, the puzzle should always be solvable out of it's own. You shouldn't need some obscure nerd knowledge to solve it.

When I first reached the end of the game, I had a completion score of abot 80% (I didn't collect all memory blocks) and the end of the story didn't make too much sense to me. So I kept playing until I finally reached 100% and hoped for some answers (Who took the photos and why? What is the secret project? Why did Alex and Markus go to Japan?). I didn't get them, but was rewarded with access to a secret website instead (that had some interesting developer's note and some design stuff). So in the end it was nice to meet the characters from Blocks That Matter again, but storywise it wasn't completely satisfying.

Technically there are some bugs (mainly disappearing blocks when you use the rewind key too often), but as far as I can see nothing critical or game-breaking any longer.

As a puzzle game I can definitely recommend Tetrobot and Co. and I'm looking forward to the next projects of SwingSwingSubmarine.

Vertical drop heroes.Fun and cute rogue-lite game.Finished normal mode.Lots of traits and ways to play. There are better rogue-lite and rogue games but it is a good one.
A Bird Story
It's not really a game (there's absolutely no freedom and hardly any interactivity), but I like the way the story is told. A nice and relaxing way to spend about 75 minutes.

I loved MMZ! I have all 4 on GBA, but only finished the first. (Only played the 2nd once).

If it got rid of all that story crap, it would be perfect.
Finished a playthrough of Bayonetta (Normal Mode) on Wii U. I still love it, but portions of it (some of the QTEs in cutscenes, motorbike sections, and story) weren't as great as I remembered. One more playthrough on hard mode before I move on to Bayonetta 2.
The Chronicles of Riddick: Espace from Butcher Bay 24.11.2014

This one was excellent and i have fun most of the time. Butcher Bay sure is a cold and brutal place. I liked the prison, it capture the same feeling like in the Oz tv show. Stealth sequences were great too, bummer that just the guards notice you far too easily when you come from corner and shoot you instally. Middle part was a bit tedious, you are just a little too long at the mines but the near end parts were better. Now to start that Dark Arena someday.
Red Faction

I dropped this 2/3's in few months ago due to commitments, and finally had time to beat it tonight. Well...em...I'm unimpressed to say the least.
Also whoever thought that arming AI with railguns, and therefore giving you 33% chances of randomly dying every single time you come 'round the wall has some serious sadistic tendencies.

Finished Secret of Mana for the umpteenth time. Classic SNES RPG with one of the best soundtracks ever. Flew by really fast since I never stopped to grind up my weapon or spell levels. Of course, knowing what to do and where to go cuts down on a lot of time as well. I beat it in 10-15 hours (guesstimating, if the game keeps track I don't remember where it is displayed).

Trying to decide between Final Fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger, or Trails in the Sky for my next game. I'm leaning towards Trails because I've only beaten it once, and that was on PSP at work with constant interruptions and no sound - not the ideal playing environment.

Try Star Ocean or Tales of Phantasia next. Trust me: Those are the best JRPGs for SNES and Psx and if you like Secret of Mana, you'll love those, they are not even completely linear.
saints row 3
i spend 6 years on saints row 2 it took me 3 days to finish 3 when i finally got past that damn guardian angel mission

playing 4 now

Already started Trails in the Sky, but these are on the list.
I've started Star Ocean a few times, but never made it anywhere of consequence. SO2 and 4 were great, I really do need to play through 1 and 3 sometime.
Tales is just one of those series I've always meant to get in to but never made the time. I played quite a bit of Tales of Graces before a power outage corrupted my save. That's been the extent of my experience with the series.
