Sorry if this is answered elsewhere, but search is giving me a 500 Error right now and "Post my message" keeps hanging in the Galaxy beta forum too.

I'm on a Mac using the Galaxy client - some of my games (notably the Leisure Suit Larry collection) that are available for Mac don't show up as being available to install. Is it just that all of the games are not available yet? They do show up if I set the filter to PC games (and they don't show 'not currently available'), so I have to assume they've been made compatible with Galaxy.

Thanks!

I would guess that the product is marked as OS X compatible, but the unbundled games themselves are not (ie. Supreme League of Patriots is bought as one package, has support for all three platforms, displays as three episodes on the shelf, and does not show when filtering for Linux or OS X).

This seems to be the case for many (all?) unbundled games, and currently makes Galaxy less useful for non-Windows users.

Not all games are galaxy compatible right now. The main culprits beeing packs that still need to be separated and games that have DLC.

Hmm, these games already show up separately and have no DLC... I guess I will chalk it up to Galaxy weirdness. Haven't checked out Galaxy on the PC side yet, just with my Mac.

Then there might be different issues on the Mac side but there are also some games on PC that don't fall into that category. The reason though is that the galaxy version most likely isn't ready yet.
Just tested the client yesterday and the list for MacOS looked indeed very short. But that's maybe because the list is very compact and each page shows 100 games. I honestly don't know how many mac installers I have in my collection, but from the counter on top of the client I would say that's very close and likely. For now I only miss the games that you get as bonus download (Wizardry Dos version or original Broken Sword).

Edit: Btw, unsupported games should still show up, in my case as example Dreamfall Chapters. They are marked as not available yet.
Edit2: Corrected myself, because I was wrong about the unsupported games. You can't download their installers or bonus stuff, only for games that are supported (but then also the windows and linux installers).

That's what I would have thought judging by how my PC game library looked in Galaxy when I filtered by system... but the Mac games in question don't even appear in the library at all.

Want to give one or two examples I can check? Btw, I edited my post, because I was wrong about the unsupported games - unfortunately you can't download anything from them yet.

Edit: Ok, did a quickcheck comparing http://www.gog.com/games##sort=title&system=osx_106,osx_107&page=1 and the Galaxy client. There are indeed some games missing. As someone said, some of the unbundled packages. In my case that's the Avernum games. So yes, there are games missing in the client.

Pretty much this. I'm guessing that GOG is still in the process of adding games to be "Galaxy-aware" on the Mac client; this was something I also observed in the Alpha builds too.

And that's on top of the fact that Galaxy will only display (for now at least) only games for your specific platform. (it may seem counterintuitive, but it's important for people like I who play a lot of GOG games via WINE, et al.)

The games that have been separated have never displayed for Linux and OS X. Open the normal web library and search for "mac" or "linux", the separated games will not be displayed there either. It's not a Galaxy-specific problem..

(That's what I tried -- but apparently failed -- to convey by my previous reply.)

I see what you mean now! Marking as solved, even though the underlying problem is not. I'd think the GOG folks are aware of it.. though they most likely have their hands full right now.
