Hello,

I am using GOG Galaxy with many games installed. It is nearly unusable! After starting the client, nearly every time some games start to update - and they want my password every frickin time. Even when I am playing an other GOG-Game! So, the password request pops up while I am playing for instance Victor Vran, and it ruins my gameplay.
So, I have always to wait until all updates are installed, or I have to pause the downloads...
My Question:
1. Are the developers aware of this fault?
2. Is it possible to install the updates in the background, similar to the way steam handles them?

Greetings, tom
You may want to post in this stickied thread, or at least have a look through the more recent posts. A random thread in the general forum can be easily missed.
Ok, thanks, I posted it in the sticky thread.

Hey Tom, that sounds like a really bad bug... I've not seen that myself, but I keep my updates disabled be default. You can try to disable updates for your games by going to MORE -> Configure -> Manually Install Updates for EACH game. Then it shouldn't update them when your playing. Also you should report this bug at http://mantis.gog.com with your Galaxy logs.
Re-post from the beta thread.
