So I have this little weird problem with my GOG galaxy client: it crashes whenever I close it. I have no idea why, maybe it was a recent update, but 90% of the time when I close GOG it goes away like it's closing and then I get a message saying that it crashed, asking me if I want to send a report.

Under general settings, do you have anything under the first four fields ticked on?

Only "Automatically submit bug reports to GOG.com" and "Quit Galaxy when closing the main window (disable minimize to tray). The other two are unchecked. Also when I exited GOG after checking out the updates it didn't crash.

Un-check them both, restart, open galaxy, close the window and then close the program from the minimized icon in the tray (right click -> exit). See if it crashes again.

It didn't crash. I even checked the bug report one again (but not the quit galaxy one) and it didn't crash.

One of the two probably hanged the exit process. Hope that solved it for good.

Hopefully it will be fixed in the next version.

*Edit* Nevermind what I have said. After looking at the cause in the event viewer and doing a bit of googling a simple restart fixed the problem.
