It doesn't seem to save the settings when I select for "Startup Page: Resume Previous Setting." Any idea how to fix this?

If you can reproduce this issue constantly and you've verified that your settings are set the way you want them to be in the Settings menu then I highly recommend filing a bug report on our Mantis bug tracker. You don't need to create an account because your GOG account will be sufficient :)
