I didn't even realize it was friday the 13th! :P I would be playing silent hill (love the series, it's so atmospheric and creepy) but I have an exam tonight... I bought Nosferatu a while back when it was on sale (Halloween sale maybe? I don't remeber... :P) and have been meaning to try it but I don't have the time! :/ I'll try to make some time for it after exam season is done though!

That's even more frightening! D:
I'm not really into the horror genre. I'd rather play Doom on Atari.

Very spooky.

First and also favorite creepy game : Prince of Persia (1989). As a kid I found those seemingly endless dungeons, with their ambiguously dead skeletons, incredibly creepy.

A true testament to the awesomeness of the music, because even in this form it is still undeniably badass!

That is just a sorta humorous remix of the music from the first level of the original Doom.

Maybe you are thinking of the original music?

Some games I've played take advantage of the superstitions around certain numbers.

For example, SaGa Frontier 2 has one event, featuring a certain unlucky character; in that event, many enemies drop an item not available anywhere else in the game. This item has 13 durability, and it allows the user to cast a unique spell with 13 attack power.

Of course, there are other numbers used in games; some Castlevania games give death 444 HP, for example, and SaGa Frontier 1 has an attack that is capped at 666 damage.
Not a game, but far more related, Friday the 13th and 80's hair metal! Cracking stuff!

It has some pretty amazing bits that are great to listen to when working out:
