[This is a sticky post, it will be visible in every single page of this thread. It has been published in October 2020.]

Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

That being said, here you can find a post with dxenija's community poll to have better understanding of the situation: CLICK.

At the time of writing, open giveaway threads are:
- Massive Giveaways Blog
- Free (temporary) keys giveaway central topic. (this one)
- Updated Itch.io giveaways

Be nice to each other *flies away*

FYI TLDR - these coupons are recurring,
so "every eligible purchase" that used (automatically applied) coupon will generate a new coupon to replace a used one.
1. Epic push towards multiple transactions, each qualifying title must be bought separately to receive its additional -10$ discount.
2. Games <15$ cost their full discount price, While >=15$ cost >=5$, meaning a <=24.98$ title will cost less than a 14.99$ title.
Guidelines leave it unclear if adding two Games, each <15$, but with combined value of >=15$, will be eligible for coupon.

If I am right, the Epic store doesn't allow you to buy more than 1 game in 1 single transaction... there is no "shopping cart", it's just select a game, choose the payment, checkout and then start again with the next game.

So, no need to clarify that you can't combine more games <15$, since it is not possible.

By the way, with 10$ coupon I'm tempted to buy:
- SW Jedi: Fallen Order for 9,08$ (discounted 19,08$-10$ coupon)
- Control for 5,40$ (discounted 15,40$-10$ coupon after purchasing SW Jedi)

And if it works, I'm thinking about buying something else...

I don't quite follow your calculation, I see Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Respawn Entertainment | Electronic Arts On sale for -17% off $59.99 = $49.79
While Control shown as
Remedy Entertainment Plc | 505 Games On sale for -33% off $59.99 = $40.19,
Does epic show different prices within the same $ currency to different users? yet still keep the same discount coupon?

I'm not sure you are correct - during the Developer promo, I added multiple free items to my shopping cart,
Actually reaching the limit of items in checkout, which is 50 (see attached pic), and did a transaction of all items.
I doubt this is only possible in the developer store, as it basically shares it core with the regular game storefront.
But as slow as epic is in adding basic features, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't get to implementing it in the mainstream store.
(Though for the end user it is the same store, both attached to the user and share transactions which appear in the same menu.)

Mistery solved! My account country was set to India (don't know why) and the prices were quite lower...
I thought it was some kind of Christmas promo... unfortunately it wasn't.
Still can't buy more than a game at time.
