Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

edit: if it isn't showing up for you to get right now from the website then try using the Uplay client to get it. At least that's how I got it.

The links now works for me directly from the browser (never even bothered installing Uplay so far).
The link also shows the previous free given games (with a marker if you got them - which I really wanted to make sure I did).

Finally back! I was waiting for it to return - that was the only game Indiegala offered I was actually willing to link my steam account in order to get it... but It took me too long to contemplate about it until it was already gone.
edit: Where is it? I can't seem to find the giveaway link to normality :/
edit2: Found it after login but it is greyed and says to link steam, now what?

edit3: Boy that was a pain in the A$$!
1.First you need to login, then you need to go the account where it isn't showing anything until you click on My libraries.
2.Then you see no Steam is linked so you have to link using the Steam API, which will most likely unlogin you from IndieGala.
3.Then Back at IndieGala > Login again > See it's still greyed out so I went to Steam and checked - Yes, within IndieGala Group.
4.So I made sure and un-added myself then re-added. Back at IndieGala (Login again) Still greyed.
5.So I clicked the Follow on Twitter and it shows I follow, so again un-added myself then re-added. Still greyed!
6.So I just clicked the darn X on the giveaway and it worked! this makes me think I should have tried the X right from the start...
In the old times (up until two years ago?) you just had to click to receive,
then they added login requirement (just after they screwed up the login a bit earlier - way to go IndieGala),
then they added twitter/facebook req, then they added steam group association when checking eligibility,
And starting this year they also require Steam account linked upon every time you participate in a giveaway* - apparently without taking into account all the previous associations done earlier until you do :/

* Well at least this proves an extra benefit - Now I can trade my spare keys and participate in community giveaways as well.

Yeah been there too, but back in the old days when they allowed just a click to to deliver - but just after the login screw up so I could never tell if I did it while logged in or not... until I checked while logged in that is.
Btw, I missed something they did - between two years and one year ago they've added another layer:
Even though you did get the email - you still had to respond in a short time span after receiving it assuring you are human(?) to actually get a key...
At first this was only for non registered users (IndieGala said something about it being a new email), then for Logged in users as well... and then they made the obligatory steam link so I stopped trying.
At least now that they force Steam it also appears they stopped the re-confirmation through email.
