On the page there is a download link toward the bottom of the box, one for windows, one for mac. That link takes you to another screen with a download now button. That button opens another window which does the download (with ads). You don't happen to have a popup blocker enabled, do you?

I got a "Click here if your download doesn't start automatically..." and it did start automatically.

When the window with ads appear immediately click on "mirrors." There are multiple mirrors, the most popular one is marked "members only," the rest are not. Rather odd setup.

It doesn't need any sort of registering or data transfer whatsoever. I downloaded on first click without any message.
